Independent Sailing

The Independent Sailing Program provides accessible facilities, equipment and support services necessary for children and adults with a disability or mobility impairment to safely access sailing activities.
The goal of our Independent Sailing Program is to allow our sailors to develop the skills and experience required to sail independently, while minimizing the impact of their disability while on the water.
For those who want to go it alone, we offer the Learn to Sail Program, as you must be CYA White Sail III certified to sail our Martin 16's on you are own.  Once certified, our boats and facility are available at a very reasonable rate.
